    Ireland Exploration

    Favourable Geological Setting

Over 300 gold occurrences are documented by the Geological Survey of Ireland. Ireland is the largest producer of zinc concentrates in Europe and the 10th largest producer of zinc concentrates in the world, having two operating underground Zn-Pb mines at Navan and Lisheen.

The most recent gold deposit discovered in Ireland is the Curraghinalt deposit located in County Tyrone (Northern Ireland, UK). Curraghinalt has an inferred mineral resource totaling 8.01 million tonnes at an average grade of 9.67 g/t Au.
